Have you ever almost had an accident while driving because of distracted driving?  Distracted driving is losing the focus of what’s really important and concentrating on something less important. When driving a vehicle – driving is the most important thing. When living in this life – your life in Christ is the most important thing.

Every believer has been called by God to do great things in this life. We have been chosen, forgiven, adopted and made righteous by God (see Ephesians 1:3-7). While God did all this and more because He loves us – He also wants us to be productive for His Kingdom. When we let side issues, our feelings, other people's problems grab and hold our focus, we, like a distracted driver are setting ourselves up to have an accident.

Get your focus on the Lord; who He is, who He called you to be and what He called you to do. Get in God’s Word for it will help you focus on what is really important. Get before God; pray, get in His presence and make time to hear His voice. Get distracted living out of the way and start living His abundant life.
